  • 1.5 ozNew Riff Single Barrel Bourbon (barrel-proof, ~114-proof)
  • 3.5 ozYoung, snappy Oude Geuze (3 Fonteinen or Boerenerf)
Glassware

Tall, narrow, straight-walled highball glass, pre-chilled.

Method
  1. Ice the Glass Place a single large column or block of dense, clear ice into your frozen highball glass.
  2. Pour the Bourbon Pour the New Riff Single Barrel directly over the ice.
  3. Add the Geuze Open the chilled geuze and slowly pour it down the inside wall of the glass to preserve the tight carbonation.
  4. One Roll-Stir Give it exactly one quiet roll-stir with a barspoon to integrate.
